Founded in 2025 by lifelong friends and filmmakers Christopher Pina and Jeremy James, Watchman Studios was born out of a rebellion against a creatively bankrupt film industry, and in defense of bold, immersive storytelling.

Raised together in the San Fernando Valley, Chris and Jeremy spent their youth enamored with the cinematic icons: Blade Runner, Gladiator, Star Wars, The Godfather—— films that didn’t just entertain but built worlds, questioned systems, and left a mark on the collective imagination. Inspired by legendary directors like Ridley Scott, Denis Villeneuve, Christopher Nolan, and Stanley Kubrick, they set out to create stories with substance—— visionary films that challenge, provoke, and endure.
